DOES ANYONE KNOW KNOW WHERE TO FIND COWBOY BOOTS?!?!? I NEED SOME AND I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!! HOW CAN I BE A COWGIRL WITHOUT BOOTS?!?!

Victory is OURS!

So, the other night... or maybe it was a couple weeks ago... I don't remember. ANYWHO we were at our friends' apartment and we were noticing that even though they are guys, their apartment was cuter than ours. Of course being the girls that we are, we just couldn't let it stay that way. So Catey comes home on Friday night with two posters from Wal-mart. One is Batman and one is the Disney Princesses.

We hung them on our wall along with a princess mirror that we write our funny quotes on, and a sign Catey made that says:

Life is short:

break the rules

forgive quickly

kiss slowly

love truly

laugh uncontrollably

and never regret anything that made you smile

(care to guess which line she made the biggest?) Its kinda funny, because when you are sitting across the room, all you can see is "KISS SLOWLY" ... its slightly amusing when guys come over. So anyway, the point to all of this is that our apartment is now TEN times cuter than the guys apartment. Life mission complete.

Oh, and before you think that all we have on our walls is movie posters, on the other two walls we have pictures of spiritual stuff. So we aren't all evil, don't worry.

And for your information, the girls in apartment 909 (thats us) have come to the joint agreement that Batman is by far the best superhero. He may not have powers, but he wins the competition hands down.

Don't worry I'm still alive!

Well... I have been here almost a month now, and I still haven't put up any pics of my apartment... so let me get right on that! Life is going great - I'm having a blast! (but don't worry, even through all the fun I am missing you all like crazy!) We are planning on coming down conference weekend though, so keep an eye out for me! :D

I'm here!

Well, I made it to flagstaff safe and sound! And I must confess I like it better than I expected to. It is so beautiful here!! I can't believe how nice it is outside - we have been walking everywhere and I don't even break a sweat! It's fantastic!! Our apartment is nice too. It's tiny, but that's ok. There was one SLIGHT problem, but we got it fixed yesterday. We woke up Sunday morning to shower before church only to find that our water heater was not working!! Now, a cold shower in Mesa is one thing, but a cold shower in Flagstaff?!?! That was quite another matter. The water was literally ice cold. It was the coldest shower of my life and I am not looking to relive the experience anytime soon. We got it fixed yesterday though, so we are all settled in, and as soon as my computer wants to work properly, I will put up pictures of our humble little abode.

Ok so today I decided that I should probably check my NAU email account. I knew I had one, but I had never checked it. To my utter dismay, I found that this Friday I have to sing in front of a million and a half people. BY MYSELF. There was an email saying that on Friday from 10-12 there was a required meeting for ALL music majors. At this lovely meeting, we will each have to sing a solo in front of all the others students and staff. Unfortunately, I didn't bring any of my classical songs with me, and I haven't sung them for months so I am going to be very rusty on them. Needless to say I am scared out of my mind. Hopefully it will all work out somehow... but I would appreciate any prayers in my behalf. I know it may not seem like that big of deal to you, but to me it is. So yeah.

Anywho, I should go do something productive - I will post pictures as soon as I can! I love you all and I miss you!

I'm a big kid now!

Wow. I'm really bad at this blogging thing. Sorry I guess I just don't ever have anything interesting to tell you about! But I do have one thing that I want to say...(or sing.. whichever you prefer.) I'M A BIG KID NOW! And in case you are confused, no I did not just graduate from wearing diapers and pull-ups. (but when that blessed day comes I will be sure to let you know) No, what I am referring to is the move up to Flagstaff that is looming in my near future. Two days to be exact. For those of you who don't know, though I'm sure anyone reading this knows me well enough that this is old news, I am moving up to NAU on Saturday. (along with Kylie and Rachel who will be my roommates! :D) So before I go, I just wanted to tell you all how much I love you and will miss you! And you all have to keep being my friend even though I am farther away. Thanks for all the good times and memories! I LOVE YOU!! (I was going to put my number and email address on here for those of you that don't have it, just so we could stay in touch. But upon reflection, I realize that would not be the wisest course of action, seeing as there are random creeps out there that could be reading this. So... if you don't have my number... ask someone who does... and KEEP IN TOUCH!!!) Bye Bye!! And once more just for fun.... I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Emma and Cohen!

So my adorable niece and nephew stayed overnight with us on Thursday, and we had a grand ol' time! Emma took up my whole bed, woke me up about 12 times in the middle of the night, and got me up early!! Later on we went swimming, and when we got out we discovered that we didn't have any more clothes for Emma! So... if you are wondering what exactly she is wearing in the pictures... it is an apron! She picked it out herself saying "OH! This one looks pretty!" The only response I could really give was "Uh... yeah Em... its... pretty!" So on went the apron! Then we decided that hair after swimming just isnt that pretty... so I curled it "like Cindewella, Belle, and Sleeping Bweauty... all free!! (3)" Then we went in my room and spotted my camera.... and my Belle doll (curtesy of Thomas and Nick.. thanks guys! :D) and Emma just HAD to have a picture with Belle. We took about 20. After that she ran downstairs to show my mom and grandma, and she took about 20 more of all of us. She is basically the cutest ever! Anywho, enough talk from me! Enjoy the pics!
